Hauge Wild Fishing

I am the Athletic Director and head baseball coach at upstart Bayshore Christian School in Fairhope, Alabama. I have been at this job for the last 11 years and before that I was in the Baldwin County public school system for 12 years.

I have a passion to see young men and women grow in their relationship with Christ and become great husbands, wives, fathers and mothers that impact the world for Christ.

I also have a love for the outdoors and I want to pass on this love for Mobile Bay and its tributaries to others. I have been an educator for 23 years and got my start as a history teacher. I enjoy the local history that we have in the Mobile area that dates back to 1702 and can tell some great stories about our area.

I am a USCG certified captain and got my license during the 2020 COVID year. It was a dream of mine to get my captain'slicense and I was able to take advantage of the down time that the world had and was able to take the necessary steps to earn my license.

I have been fishing the Mobile/Tensaw Delta and its surrounding tributaries for over 35 years. I started bass fishing in the Lower Delta and then my dad started taking me speckled trout fishing when I was 12 or 13 years old. I was hooked on catching speckled trout at that moment and started fishing for them year round. One of the things I love about inshore fishing is that it allows you the opportunity to catch so many different species of fish.
